Tap room is very nice. There is not really a "tour" of the brewery, but you are able to enjoy the brews in the taproom, which overlooks the brewery. Unfortionatly, tastings are conducted infrequently during the week. Guy conducting the tasting and discussing the beers was great!

Visiting the Harpoon (Mass Bay) brewery is worth the trip to the industrial docks of Boston. The tasting room has a few fresh samples on tap and the limited 100 barrel series of specialty beers can be bought to go.

We visited the Harpoon Brewery to participate on the tour and sample the beers. We sampled beers before and after the tour, all of which were good. The Harpoon IPA is one of the best IPA's brewed in the entire Boston area. I agree with an earlier reviewer that the tour should have been more technical. I thought they would take us through the brewery and see things up close, but we never left the showroom. The young lady who explained the brew process was very nice and kept our glasses full of tasty beer. I recommend this tour.

Harpoon is awesome - period. There is nothing better than a fresh Harpoon Ale, and the Winter Warmer is always something to look forward too. They've recently started brewing some new seasonal beers, that have kinda flopped, but they made up for it w/ their latest attempt, the Munich Dark. The brewery events are not to be missed.
