This brewpub has been closed for over two months. They have lost their license to sell alcohol. The speculations are that they were serving minors.

We really like Rafters! We are making our annual holiday pilgrimage to the area from the Midwest, we have already hit Rafters a couple times this week. Mmmm, the IPA, Pale and Amber are great. Lunch specials are great, the pizza is wonderful!

Might have caught this place on an off day but I wasn't all that impressed.San Rafaels one-way streets got me off on the wrong foot and parking is an adventure unto itself. They had six beers on tap.Tried the Oktoberfest(5.0%).Good but not great.Had to wait about five minutes with an empty glass before the person behind the bar got back to me.And she wasn't exactly swamped with customers.Seemed like the locals got preferential treatment.Did enjoy a pint of the Irish stout(4.6%) so the visit wasn't a total washout.Maybe if I'd hung around long enough for the evenings live entertainment I'd be singing a different tune.Worth a second visit since another brewpub, Broken Drum,is a short stroll down Fourth Street.

Tried the beer last week. Three out of six are very good (blonde, IPA, and stout). Tried the Sunday all-you-can-eat brunch. Best ever, anywhere!! Wonderful food selection (waffle/pancake, omelet, salads, meat, pasta, desert, bread, bacon/sausage). Go between 11 and 3 on Sundays! It's great!

It was way better when it was willow street and the staff there was way better than the one at limelite.

Willow Street Brewery recently changed management as well as its name. The beers are still top-notch (better than Willow Street's as I recall).

The brewpub at this address is called Willow Street. The Porter was good! However, not as "chocolately" as advertised. Amber was a good drinking beer, but weak. Probably their weakess offering. The Wheat was very good, not strong or overpowering. The Gold was excellent!!! This was a true find. It was darker then anticipated with a good hop flavor/bitterness. This is a true brewpub drinkers beer! The IPA was good, but not as bitter or dry as a true IPA should be. Very drinkable however, and a great beer to end the evening on. The food was very good, escpecially the pizza. And Janine was excellent behind the bar. I will definitely return to this place!
