The IPA was great. The servers were very attentive and friendly. The pizza was good and served quickly. Did I mention that the IPA was great.

I thought the pale ale was excellent. The food at Il Vicino has always been good. I think the staff gives the right amount of attention, they're there when you need something. Jessie is just a total fox, lovely lady.

Il Vicino has some of the best ales I've ever had. The Wet Mt. IPA is is one of my favorite all around beers. The best part is that I live only a few miles away!

Il Vicino's beers are some of the best in Albuquerque. Four of their ales are consistent medal winners at the GABF and the World Beer Cup. Can't get enough of their IPA. Great food, too. I would definitely check this place out when in Albq.

One of the reviewers hit the nail on the head when he said that this is not a brewpub, but an Italian resturant that serves beer. Yes, but it serves great wood-oven pizzas, and has its own wine imported from Italy. Also imported from Italy is the world's best cheesecake. A must-visit place!

The beer is well executed. The Brown was tasty and good, and the Wet Mountain IPA was wet hopped and nice. Would I choose this place over Kelly's across the street? No.

Easily the best beer in Albuquerque. 6 or 7 on tap. All were perfect examples of the respective style. All had great character. I have been 4 times in one week. Better than the other micros in the area. They used to brew on premisis, but they have 3 locations now and one does the brewing. A must stop for any beer lover. Food was great, service was excellent. The manager even dropped by and talked with me for a good while about their business model, the beer, how its made, what they use, etc.. etc.. Overall an excellent example of good beer, service, and the right atmosphere.

Had too much to drink...the last review was for Kellys down the street. The panini was awsome and the service was great. Beer is not made on premise.

This isn't a brewpub per se, but rather an Italian restaurant that happens to serve some really fine beer. I agree with the reviewers who loved the Wet Mountain IPA; the English Bitter, one of the seasonal selections, was right up there with it. An enjoyable evening in all respects.

An interesting place in which the customer orders both food and drink from a chalkboard menu up front and the food is delivered to table by server. This is the traditional British pub style and it saves some time.
Great atmosphere but since the servers probably justifiably believe their tips will be lower, they have a tendency to stay away.

Not bad. The beer selection was lacking. They are in the process of moving brewing operations, and some beers were unavailable. The pizza I had was the BEST I have ever had. Bottom line: Go there when in Albuquerque (or close by).

Three beers only. The two darks and the IPA. As a hop head, I was looking forward to this. I must worship other GODs. Not so good. Maybe it was that they just transfered brewing operations to another site. I might try it again.

The Brown Ale is superb. The pizzas are to die for. Also try their locations in Santa Fe, NM and Salida, Colorado. Very reasonable prices.

Cool decor, tasty food, and absolutely delicious beer. The Wet Mountain IPA is one of the best I have found. All in all, a fine place to spend some quality time.

To look at this place from the street one wouldn't expect too much. Upon entering however, the trendy decor causes expectations to rise. Expectations are met by small-batch, high-quality brews (many medals have been won by their brewers) and their excellent food. The service is relaxed yet efficient; the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy.
