Stop #2 after the Princess Pub. I really liked the second story location of this bar. Again a nice atmosphere, but the beer selection was somewhat weak. They did have Fullers Pale Ale on tap, which was excellent. The Fullers ESB was also fresh. The food looked very good, but I didn't partake. Very friendly bar and wait staff makes this a must stop.

THE PUB WAS CROWDED BUT IT WAS A GOOD CROWD, LOTS OF FRIENDLY PEOPLE. THE SERVICE WAS AWESOME!! WE SAT INSIDE BUT THEY HAVE PATIO DINING AS WELL. THE PUB IS AWAY FROM DOWN TOWN SO YOU DON'T GET THE DOWN TOWN PEOPLE.THIS PLACE IS WORTH A VISIT!

Shakespears was the first place I hit after landing in San Diego last week. What a find. It is located in a low key neighborhood and has an outside deck for enjoying the evening. Beside a great atmosphere, the selection and quality of the beer is hard to beat.

Great Great Great Great Awesome!
A really nice pub with a great selection of English beers and food; fantastic fish and chips. Has a nice outside patio for warmer days and nights. The only problem; it's really noisy when crowded. Moderate prices and centrally located. Only 2 miles from downtown. My wife and I are local and go about six times a year.
