The pub is unfortunately closed, but the beers are available around town at bars and whole foods markets. The Belgian Blonde is great, and the Red Bison satisfies my inner hop-head. When I want somthing a little more chewy, the chocolate stout is great! Good stuff all around.

The pub has been closed for years; when the current owners bought it, the old staff went and opened Lane Splitters (and some are affiliated with Meal Ticket - both places are fantastic). The restaurant now renting space from the new owners is Tandor Kitchen, a family run place serving FANTASTIC halal Indian food. The signage is phonetic, the ambiance spare, and it doesn't matter as the food is phenomenal.
Bison's beer is available in stores, but it's not as good as it was with the original brewmeister. But I'm biased: this is where I learned my beer snobbery.

I have been coming going to Bison for serveral years. They have just revampted the place. Now called the "Dragonfly Teahouse" @ Bison Brewery the food is wierd but fantastic. The new teahouse was designed to highlight their "Hard Ice Tea." Alcohilc iced teas, Peach, Mango and one made from Jasmine flowers and green tea. red bull and voka has nothing on these teas interms of pick me up. These teas are tastefull and quite refreshing. And let's not forget the high alcohol content that packs a punch.

I've tried this place several times, and have never undertood the hype. Interesting atmosphere/patrons don't make-up for vastly indifferent beers. Only the Coriander Rye (when available) is worth your time/money...//TSB

I enjoyed my several visits here especially the 22oz bottles that I brought back home. Definitely worth the trip in.

It's hard to believe the head brewer came out of the Davis brew program. The beer has been of so-so quality, low carb (if any at all),off flavor(didn't clean his tap lines?).The food is excellant, but he(the brewer) should hire back the original brewers. It's a shame because I like the place(I live 2 blocks away), and I'd hate to see the place go belly up.
