I had a beer sampler and with a card to tell me what I should be expecting with each brew. Each one was right on. The Alligator Ale had a nice, smooth taste to it and you could definitely taste the chocolate hops. They told me the Red is the most popular in colorado and I can see why. The food was awesome I had a jamacian steak that went really well with the darker beers. I was a little disappointed that they did not have an IPA but was happy that they are working on a recipe for it right now. John was our server and he was phenomenol. However he wasn't bringing most of the things we needed the whole night, the whole serving staff was helping us out so you could ask anyone for anything. No one gave the attitude that I'm not your server. Everyone was really friendly. I'll definitely go back here when I return to Denver.

My wife and I tried the sampler which had beers that ranged in similarity to, on the light end, water, and on the other light end, Coors Light (but not as good). We immediately left and any time we want to make fun of a place, somehow "Hops" ends up in the joke. BTW, about the only Hops were there was the name on the sign...

The food was pretty good. Nice selection and moderately priced. Beer (porter) was ok but not worth going back for. No IPA's or stouts at the time.

A weak selection of about 4 very bland lagers when I went there. Food was way overpriced for a brewpub. Beer may be to the liking of "Joe Coors Fan", but is woefully inadequate for the craft beer fan. This is a yuppie chain restaurant designed to prey on the brewpub craze. Stay away if you can.

Beers lacked character, no major flaws, just no really character. Had a sampler of 4 or 5 beers. I didn't have food. Nice atmosphere.

Sort of a Applebees meets brewpub. The beer and food is average. There are many other brewpubs in Denver higher on my "return" list

This establishment has some excellent beer products, but not enough to choose from. There were only four beers when I visited, but I was impressed by all of them. Even the light beer, Clearwater Light, was very good for a light beer- much better than other beers of this style. The service could have been better. Overall, though, this is a place worth seeking out.
