We visited two Schmid's locations Anaheim and Tustin. Both serve the same great beer. We liked the Amber,Hefe and Stout. The food is excellent. If you like Mac & Cheese try their Mac & Beer. Outstanding! Sweet Potato fries are the perfect appetizer with a couple of pints.

For being a Southern Cal brew pub, the beer is not all that good for the most part. The stout and hefe were the 2 best when it comes to flavored beer. After having the sampler, I stuck with the stout. The light was your typical unhoppy blond ale. The Pale (Really an Amber) and the IPA tasted more like watered down malt. Food is excellent. We had a pizza and a chinese chicken salad. Have had better service at a Waffle House.

The only beers worth drinking were that Stout and Light. The IPA was not even close to being an IPA, which is disappointing for a Southern California Brew Pub. The IPA tasted watered down. The Amber(Bar Tender called it a pale) was also watered down flavored. Little to no hop flavor or aroma in the amber. The light was pretty good and would please the typical blond ale guy. The stout was semi-impressive enough to warrant drinking another. Totally recommend the pepperoni and Mushroom pizza along with the Chinese chicken salad. Lone advise.... Don't go with the expectation of good micro brew/pub brew. Go a block down to Lazy Dog cafe for good beer.

The Wife and I stopped there last Saturday before the Angel game, this was my second time at this establishment. I seem to remember that I didnt really like this place the first time but things change. Had the sampler, the Hefe and Stout stood out for me, I thought the pale ale and the red were a little weak, the light was light. The service and food was a lot better than my first, my burger was good exactly to my order.

Given that the NHL season was a bust this year, JT's still managed to stay busy. The beer is consistent - and good. The menu is more upscale than you might find at another brewpub. If you can't find a beer that you like, and something good to nibble on, you're just trying too hard.
The Pale is good, and the Hefe is a California style Hefe.
Worth a stop? Yes! with or without the Ducks players sittig at he bar next to you.
And yes, they DO come in for lunch on game days.

Very nice place, great location, across from where some team plays a game on ice. Also walking distance to the ball park, where L.A. sends it's losing teams to play. Good beer selections, always fresh. The menu also has alot to offer. Have always had good luck with the service. Nice seating area outside. Have always made this a stop when I am in Orange County, and will continue to do so. Put this one on your list as a must try.

Beers were pretty good, like the ambience of the place; however I thought the food prices were a bit on the highside- but everwhere near Disney is like that. I do recommend rolling in for a sampler.

When initially tasting their beers I was thinking awesome. Their IPA was fantastic. However, their Amber lacked the malt charactor that I'm used too. The stout was also very good. Food was great too. I will definately go back if I'm in the Anaheim area.

This was a pretty nice place. It's right across from where the Duck's play hockey. Dined on appetizers for dinner. Tried the IPA which I really liked and then the Honey Ale which was okay but not great.

A FIRST CLASS BREWPUB LOCATED ACROOS FROM ARROWHEAD POND. GREAT BEERS, ESPECIALLY THE HEFFE, WHICH IS IN THE TRADITIONAL STYLE, WHERE THE FLAVOR PROFILE IS PREDOMINATELY BANANNA AND CLOVE, VS THE AMERICAN BASTERDIZED VERSION WHICH IS TOO CITRUSY. ALSO A GREAT STOUT, AND PORTER. WHEN IN DISNEYLAND, MAKE THIS A MUST DO!!!

Managed to check this place out while visiting Anaheim and it is not a bad brewpub. We went during lunch so there were not too many people there. They offer a sampler of all the beers available for $8.00. Their beers are above average but nothing really stood out as spectacular. The Stout was pretty good, as was the IPA.
I would recommend this brewpub if you are in the Convention Center/Disney hotels area as it is a cheap cab ride. The food was pretty decent too.

JT's is consistent. The beer is first rate, the food is good, and the bar is still staffed by a lone bartender! Seriously, the consistency is a good thing in an industry where a place can change overnight and go from good to bad in a moment. The beer at JT's is fresh and the specials are always worth a taste. Although I'm partial to IPA, I had a very light honey ale with lunch today and it just hit the spot - warm day in Anaheim :) It was moderately busy at lunch but I was still greeted at the door and the bartender recognized me although I had not been in for a couple of months. Is this worth a stop if you're in Anaheim? You bet. BTW, if you're a hockey fan, and if the Ducks are in town, you might catch one of them having lunch before the game.

This is a sports oriented brewpub, which should be expected, perched as it is between ANgels Stadium (Edison Field now) and the Anaheim Pond. It's a pre & post game place with multiple big screens. The pale is tasty and I've never had a bad pizza there. Service is sometimes spotty, perhaps because there is a single bartender working the very large bar. Even so, they're friendly and somewhat knowledgeable about beer. If you're in the area it is worth a stop. On game days, parking can be tough, but there is parking around the back.

Besides the food, location is the only thing that keeps this brewpub from getting a "so-so" in my book. Alright for a quick cold one before a game...//TSB
