My third visit. Food has always been good. Beer has been alright but not great. The Stout was very pedestrian this trip

Since my wife's family lives nearby, I've visited this place numerous times over the last ten years. The food is quite good; the atmosphere is great (if you don't mind a lot of light); the beers vary -- but I've always found some I really like. They do darks and hoppy reds very well. (I'm not a big fan of Pilsener style -- except when it's freakin hot, which I'm sure is the case at this location in the summer.)

The beer was not that good. The pilsner had a Grain-husk-like off-taste. They had several awards for their beer on the wall. Made me wonder if they switched brewers. The food was alright. I was there several times over a two week period. For the most part, the staff was awful. They were more interested in hanging out with each other, then taking care of the customers. My coleague ordered a glass of wine. After 10 minutes the waitress brought him a glass of waters. She seemed wasted. The bartender Dena has the personality that would be better suited for a librarian. The bar scene was extremely boring. I only kept going back because it was next to the hotel. After a while, that wasn't even a good enough reason to return.

I went here in July 2000 and don't remember being very impressed. I guess it was OK. I didn't eat 'cause I don't like seafood. I'd call the place "average" I guess.

Hoppers continues to produce very fine beer. They have a large selection of beers and they all are very good quality. The place is clean and very popular. Sometimes it is tough to get a seat in there! Try the fish and chips, they are great! I never had a problem with service, but they do get busy and can be a little slow in response.

Had a couple pitchers of beer and a great lunch while in Salt Lake area for the Olympics. The best brewpub we found in Utah!

I tried three of their brews and would have tried more if there had been more time.Of the three I tried the Red was very good with a pronounced hoppiness that suited my English pallet. The menu looked very exciting and we were all very satisfied, the Fish & Chips getting special mention as being excellent. The service was also excellent. Well worth the trip and proof that beer does not have to be strong to be flavourful!

I only had one beer, the Red, and it was very sound. The dinner I had was the Lemon Chicken Pasta, some of the best I've ever had. Service and atmosphere were good.

For 3.2% beer, Hoppers does a decent job. My experience with the food has been limited to the chicken wings and onion rings, which are outstanding (the best I've found in Utah)! I go out of my way to stop here.

Sort of a cool pub atmosphere, and the beer is okay. But don't go for dinner, 'cause the food is poor, and the service is no better. This is based on several trips. One time, we went all the way through dinner without our server taking notice of our empty pitcher... unacceptable, especially in a brewpub.
