I just spoke with the owner on Oct 21st - they are interviewing a new brewer and hope to return to brewing soon. The adjacent Pinch Penny Pub has a good beer selection and is a lot of fun.

No longer brewing beer! Drove two hours out of my way to try their beer and find out they quit brewing 6 months ago. Big disappointment. The Pinch penny pub next door, owned by the same people has a decent beer selection and good food.

This is one of the best venue in southern il. it a very intimate the beer is great and the band all seem to enjoy themselves after every show i've seen there the band is very open with the fans and hang out for a little after the show the only downside to the copper dragon is that it is in a college town and there are a bunch of white heads around the venue but as far as apub the copper dragon has a wonderful bunch of brews I just wish they would distribute more around the state

Across from the college and a hang-out. Bands are a focus. Large outside bar. Did not eat here. Tried all the beers which were OK.

Tried the Wheat, Wit & Raspberry Ale, all were not very good. I tried the IPA. Which, was one of the best Nut Brown Ales I have had in a long time. Not sure why it is an IPA. It was a dark color, little if any hop character, but had an excellent nutty flavor. Change the name! I was saddened to be told this place is closing soon. Too bad.

You can't beat good beer for a normal price of $1.75 for a full pint !!! They have about 5-6 beers that I have seen. Their ESB and Scottish ale are very good, and their Oatmeal Stout is good. The Pale ale is decent, but I have not had the Blonde Ale or the Porter I have heard about. Has a nice beer garden with a volleyball court and stage. Great place...

You can't beat the atmosphere. Great bands in a nice surrounding makes it a comfortable place to drink good beer. Gotta love it.

They don't have enough goblets to truly offer a $1.50 goblet night. Its more like $1.25 plastic cup night.
