Beer selection was great, nightly specials throughout the week showcasing local and macro brews. Atmosphere is laid back and friendly but the service was so-so upstairs. The menu was pretty standard. Downstairs at the Huber-Haus, service was great, German beers were plentiful and the snacks were delicious.

Cresent Moon has a beer for everyone including kids (Thomas Kemper Root Beer of course). Recently added is the Huber Haus. It is a German Beer Hall in the Lower Lever of the CM. If you like the Beer Hall experience and like German Beer it is a must go. Even if you are curious about German beer there are many styles to choose from.
Back to the CM. The food is always good and fresh. I'd recommend the Twice Baked Potatoe Soup(Everyday) and also the Chicken Tortia Soup(Tuesday's Only). Despite what someone else said the Ruben is one of the best I have ever had and I have had Ruben's all over the country. This is the birthplace of the Ruben; the Blackstone Hotel across the Street.
As mention before the CM has 31 beers on tap and many bottle beer as well. The CM focus on Micros and European Beers on Tap. Sorry no domestics. The main breweries represented are New Belgium,Boulevard,Sierra Nevada, and Anchor Steam are always found on tap. The other taps are rotating according to seasonal beers or a featured Brewery from the region (which we have quite a few and good at that); or Beers from England,France,Belgium,Ireland,Czech Republic. My personal fave is Hopualia, a beer brewed right here in Nebraska by a genius Sam Spilker. It is a America Pale Ale that is very drinkable all year around. Another house fave is the Sierra Nevada Celebration in which they buy enough of this seasonal beer to almost server year around because it is so popular. The best sellers are Boulevare Wheat and Fat Tire.

Terrific beer bar, if homey and unpretentious and extremely comfortable, a place to spend a few hours. CM offers a fine choice of regional Nebraska micros, such as Upstream BC (Omaha), Empryean BC (Lincoln)and Thunderhead (Kearney); also has Boulevard BC (Kansas City, MO) and New Belgium (Ft. Collins, CO.) A great place to go when (and if) you visit Omaha.

I have been going to the "Moon" for about seven years and it has declined slowly in the last five years. Service could be better and the tap list does not show as much imagination as it used to. Still one of the best selections around.

Crecent Moon never disappoints. It is the perfect place for beer-lovers of all types. The beer selection is superb. I am always happy to find a place that showcases some very tasty regional beers as well as interesting imports. Service is excellent as well. It is obvious that the owners and staff are dedicated to providing quality beer and and a great atmosphere to drink it in. Definitely worth a visit or 20!

I have gone to the Crescent Moon for 5 years now, and boy oh boy is this place a hoot!! Their Mardis Gras bash is like a girls gone wild commercial. And not to mention their Octoberfest with real beer wenches and everything!! Bill and Jen keep the right atmosphere and attract the right beer loving crowd. Although, over the last year or so I have missed my favorite bartender, Jackie. Always there with a quick remark and smile. My drinks never went empty. Good luck replacing her!!!

Moved from Omaha about 4 years ago. I currently reside in Charlotte NC, and this is the place I miss the most. I really miss the atmosphere and you will not find better buffalo wings anywhere. I am still searching for a comparable place to hang out. So many people there don't take advantage of this valuable resource.

I was in on a Tuesday night. It was very busy but the bartenders did a great job keeping my glass filled. Great selection of beers, including the Konig Hefeweizen on special "keep the glass night". One can definitely stay too long here!!

I found the Crescent Moon about 3-4 years ago. It's a favorite, especially if I'm going to an event in downtown Omaha. In fact, I took my fiance there as a "friend" before we actually started dating. It's typical, yet delicious pub food. The beer selection is awesome. I tend to lean toward the import beers, of which the Crescent Moon has many varieties!

If you are a fan of Boulevard Wheat, Thursday is the night to go because they have specials. I am also a fan of their buffalo wings. Good atmosphere and a fun place to go any day of the week.

The beer selection is unbelievable;all the best from the midwest(the east coast cannot compare;even New York City). The atmosphere is just right for beer drinking. Jack in the kitchen runs a tight ship and the pub food is always on the money. Bill, the owner, has that sincere love for the malt and barley and it shows! I try to make 2 trips per year to Omaha and I always spend Friday night and Saturday afternoon at the Crescent. My overall best pick for a Microbrew Bar!

In the beer wasteland called nebraska, this the the only place we've found that serves a variety of real beer at the right temperature. They keep the lines clean and rotate the stock so there are seldom pub induced off flavors.

Their burgers are good, but there are better locations in Omaha to get one. Do not get the ruben - one of the worst I have had anywhere. Beer & cider selection is superb, with beer signs & decorations all over (I want the Metz beer sign over the bar!!!) also some old pix of Omaha in the heyday - including the building they are in. be carefull during the red sickness season (husker football) - I would stay away unless you are into that "scene" and mindset.

Best selection of micros in Omaha and the prices are reasonable. I especially liked the Cortland wheat and hopallua ale. The food is also good.
