They did go under but when they were open I went on a tour of thier facility. The owner treated us like dirt and acted as though we were an inconvience to him. The beer was mediocre at best. Guess you do reap what you sow.

Solid Connecticut micro, with the Scotch Ale as the standout. I recently stopped by on a Saturday, and received a personal tour of the brewery - Peter Hammer and his wife were very gracious, and the place has a nice, comfortable, family atmosphere. Samples were given throughout the tour. The Vienna Lager is a basic every-day beer; the Brown Ale is slightly more flavorful (albeit still relatively light); the Oktoberfest, ESB, and previously mentioned Scotch Ale are all keepers, and their American Ale is a delicately hopped but restrained, good beer. When in Connecticut, try them out!

They recently came out with a Scotch Ale . Try it! This is not a brewpub. Microbrewery only.

A wonderful Vienna lager in bottles and kegs. A brown ale, too.
