The beers were all lacking in body so I didn't even bother trying the light beer. I think the stout may have been the worst stout I have ever tried that wasn't infected, and some of the infected stouts I have tried are better. The saving grace was that at least the IPA was hoppy making the weak body tolerable. Many of the surrounding towns do not allow smoking in the bars so this one crowds with smokers and will drop a non-smoker fast. This place is overall okay but definately not worth traveling any distance, even across the street, just for their beer. There are just too many places to get good beer to bother with this place for beer.

No longer a brew pub, but offering contract brewed beer that is low on taste and distinctiveness.
Food is fairly good. Basically a locals bar, with people following sports and trvia on TV.
If you in this area, John Harvard's, just a short distance away across the line in Framingham, is a much better choice.

It's attached to a hotel, so it is actually a "hotel bar/restaurant" but is is a brew pub and it's not bad. Not my favorite one, but not bad either. It's also a decent place to see sports on TV. Really, I only have two ratings for pubs, GO or NOT GO. This one is GO.
Cheers

They were "brewing" while I was there (at the height of the holiday season!) IF you like sportsbars, you'll love this place. If not, avoid it.

Have been there on two occasions. Both times I sat at the bar. Once on the first visit and twice on the second visit I waited over five minutes for a refill. And then my meal followed my salad by 30 minutes!!

Their beers are good but on the weak side, but priced right. Try their ESB and their Cherry Stout, two of the more hearty ones. The food is good and priced right with plenty on the plate so you do not go away hungry.
