This was my second visit to Humpy's. My last one was 11-04. They had the same brews on tap as last time light, hefe, golden an ipa that could use some more hops and a pretty good porter. I went for the porter and a delicious rack of ribs. After flying in from Sacramento it sure hit the spot.

I visited this brewpub on 11/27/04. Brews available were Juan Moore (light beer), Texas Blonde, Hefewiezen, Buttface Amber, Big Red IPA, Total Disorder Porter, Freidabrau (American Dark Lager) & Octoberfest. The food was great and they had a toy available for my two year to play with while we waited for dinner. The beers were good but lacked just a little body. I took a growler of the porter to go. Also available was a 6 pack of their pint glasses for $20, already boxed for the collector. I have not had good experiences with Ram Breweries in the past and this one tried to make up for it. If you want to sample all of the beers you have to ask for the seasonals because they are not included with the sampler round. Why would a brewery not want you to sample all of their beers? It is a mystery to me.

Get the skillet steak anything ! The beer is better than the average beer in the store. Nothing struck me as overwhemingly great. I do recommend the Buttface Ale or the Blonde. Both had a very good flavor. Jennifer at the bar is wonderful. GO visit her !

A good chain restaurant with beers that are acceptable but not outstanding. Very convenient to The Ballpark in Arlington if you use Six Flags Drive. Texas Blonde: inoffensive yellow lager. Big Horn Light: low-cal version of the Blonde, but with less flavor and a cloying after-taste; why microbrew a light? Big Horn Hefeweizen: all the features of a hefe, but all of them too mild. Buttface Amber: smooth, drinkable, acceptable. Big Red Ale: more pale ale than IPA as they claim, and not hoppy enough to satisfy as either one. Oktoberfest: o.k., but thin, and a touch sweeter than I expected. Total Disorder Porter: on style, except more carbonated than I expected.

Great place to stop before and after the Rangers game. The porter and Mia-bock were both very enjoyable. I try to stop by whenever in the Dallas area. Worth the effort

This is a real fun place. Beer is really ho-hum, but the Porter is an enjoyable beer. With the sports bar with ungodly, entire wall size screens, pool tables, and the video trivia, I enjoy stopping in whenever I am in Dallas.

Humperdinks is Arlington's First and Only BrewPub. I enjoy their beer often. It is some of the best I've had. good place to play NTN trivia too. I liked it enough to join their "Mug Club". Talk nicely to the brewers and they let you help brew the beer. I had a blast brewing with them.
