1st Trip. Brewed beer. Good experience.
2nd Trip. Appointment to bottle beer. But didn't have any 22oz bottles. Told me I would have to use 12oz bottles. Which means extra labels that I would have to pay for. He wouldn't pay for the extra labels. Plus our labels weren't even there.
3rd Trip. Should have been done after 2nd trip. Came to bottle in 22oz bottles but now... NO LABELS AGAIN.
4th Trip. After emailing labels again. They said they would mail. None receieved. Went back after we talked to them on phone. They said they had labels on the phone. Went there... NO LABELS AGAIN.
2 unnecessary trips. Gas cost. Time cost. Headache cost. WTF???? Plus their attitudes were so non-caring cuz after all, I am just ONE customer and who cares about me???? NEVER WILL GO AGAIN.
Was planning on telling all my friends and family to go cuz we LOVE beer. But what a horrible experience.

Brewbakers has been around for many years and is the only place in the SO Cal area where you can brew your own stuff. After years of batches made there, all have turned out great. The whole point is that you are making your own beer in a fun and relaxed atmosphere where you can't screw it up! Bottling is even better as there have been many times we have helped out Dennis with bottling of other beers and essentially "working for beer". It's a great experience that everyone should try at least once.

This is a small custom brew-house where you can brew your own beer (100+ recipes), with custom labels. Been going here for a number of years & brewed a number of batches. Never had a bad one. Dennis and the crew are friendly, knowledgeable and able to modify recipes. They keep a large selection of beers to sample, as well as sodas (the root beer and orange are great). Where else can you go to custom brew beer the way you want it to taste? Oh, to the guy below that gave it a bad review, I noticed that you didn't have the balls to put your name on it.

Very disappointed, just went to bottle our Weizen and Ale. The samples we tasted 2 weeks ago were surplus of other customers batches. We sampled our 2 batches before bottling, we declined to bottle the hefeweizen as it had an extremely sour taste, the ale was just okay, still a sour lingering after taste. They made up for it by giving us more ale. Either way the stuff we brewed was not nearly as good as we were expecting. We followed the recipes to the 'T', with constant help by their staff. All in all, I would not recommend. Their beers do not have any complexity and we found them to be thin in regards to taste.
It's a great idea, and I had an excellent experience at a similar establishment some years back. Overall not worth the money or time.

The staff knows and cares about the beer you are making. Dennis and his crew strive to provide the best brewing opportunity for the customer. We have brewed many times and have enjoyed all the beer to the last drop. The breads are also amazing.

This is a place where you brew your own beer. Clean!!! The staff is second to none, very knowledgeable, and cordial. Suggestion: Brew your beer before lunch, then to Hunt. Beach Beer Co. When bottling, drink all you can, then lunch or dinner at Hunt. Beach Beer Co. to work off the buzz, then go home and enjoy your own brew. Brewbakers will last a long time.

Not a restaurant so some categories don't apply. They have incredible spent-grain bread for sale and offer samples of the bread and most beers. A great place for would-be home-brewers to learn how to do it - great prices on brewing supplies.
