The beer selection is nice - in addition to some great microbrew, there is a selection of popular bottled Asian beers and a full bar for those comrades who aren't as hopped up as you. But the best thing about this place is the food. Chili Crusted Calamari, Minced Chicken & Black Mushroom sauteed in rice wine with lettuce cups, and lots of other delicious fun stuff. Atmosphere is good too with street tables and the feel of Old Shanghai.

Betelnut is the absolutely the best! Beer choice is your preference depending on what is available and what you feel like while eating firecracker noodles, minced chicken burritos in lettuce cups, szechuan eggplant, and the infamous sea bass and the most outstanding chili crab. You won't be sorry for going here. Make reservations weeks in advance or walk in and sit at the counter while the chefs work their magic. A must in San Francisco!!!

Excellent food -- eclectic and spicy pan-Asian menu. Very good house beers brewed by Golden Pacific Brewing Co., and they also have a great selection of Asian beers available in bottles.
