This is the original Bieres et Compagnie location, which has been around since '96 or '97. The beer menu is the same at both places, but what a fantastic offering it is. Heavy on Quebec, French & Belgian artisanal beers, the beer complements the food - if you like mussels, visit.

This is an excellent Quartier Latin beer bar with two locations offers a great selection of Belgian beers with a good selection of Quebec micros, which IMHO have always been underated. One interesting note - the menu has caribou burgers (it tastes a little like sausage - thought I was going to say chicken?) A great place to go if you're in this beautiful city.

Finally a commercial beer bar that sells BOREALE. Had such a hard time finding it this trip. Had the blonde, rousse, and black. All were top quality and served in the appropriate glass. The bartender was the most proffesional i have ever seen. Wish Boreale would become available in the US. Could not find Biere Du Monde as mentioned in a previous review.

Be carefull if you order the 'Canard a l' orange and pheasant a la provencale'. You actually get two sausages with choucrout ... But if you complain enough they change your meal :-)

Located in the colorful Latin quarter along with many outdoor cafes and boutiques. Be sure to visit the "Biere Du Monde" beer store several blocks down the street. This store sells beer exclusively from around the world in addition to many beer glasses for those who collect them as I do.
