Lousy So So N/A Good Lousy
NASTY is the only way to describe this beer. Although the Porter was very good, the other selections were undrinkable!!! Very off flavors, high Diacetyl back flavors, low head retention, and very acidic flavor profiles. Horrible mouthfeel, and even worse aromatics. This place is closed now THANK YOU BEER GODS, this place was an abomination on the beer drinking public, and an offense to us fellow brewers!!

I don't know why my experience is so much differant than previous reviews but the beer here is 2nd only to Gettysbrew as being the worst I've ever tasted. The Nut Brown and Porter were like vinegar. The Kolsch, which I did buy a bottle so a friend could sample, was not much better (too much carbonation; it was like drinking Alka Seltzer). The Prickly Pear Cactus which I also bought (but haven't opened yet) was the better tasting of the rest of the samples but that may be because it's more like a wine. (The pink color takes a little getting use to)

I personally couldve used a darker selection {no stout :-( } but tried all beers as well as some wine. The folks are nice and they now have chips and salsa; brie and crackers for snackers although we didnt need any since the beer was fulfilling. Especially liked was the kolsch and the Porter. Yum.

A very nice tasting room, very personable owners and a great product. If in the area I sure would stop by again and pick up some for the road!

The beer is good overall, with the Kolsch being the best. I would rate this one very much like a real German beer. The porter beer is also very fine, and too bad I was not able to taste this prickly beer, which sounds interesting.

Very knowlegable and charming tasting room staff and brewmaster. Great revolving selection of beers--porters to prickley pear beer. The 'staple' Kolsh and Nut Brown are great, bold, and very drinkable beers. Very nice place to hang out and sip beer OR wine on the patio--a must visit place for beer lovers!

Kolsch and porter very good. Brown ale had some off (phenolic?) flavor. Beers very expensive at $9.00 per six pack.

Beer & wine tasting, daily tours. No food, but there's a great place just down the street. You can sit on the patio and have a beer/wine.
