The porter is quite nice, but served too cold. Service was quick and pleasant, even near (or a little past) closing time for the kitchen.

The atmosphere and location are primo, if you don't mind the permeating smell of hops. Great place to stop for lunch.

This brewery has 8 distinct beers, all of which are quite satisfying. The porter is the darkest, richest, and also strongest of the ales. Along with the six ales, two lagers are currently available. As a spring seasonal, Maxwell's offers a bock beer. The other, a czech-style pilsner, is available year-round. Pale Ale , IPA, Red Roaster, Dunkelweizen, and Nut Brown round out the styles. All are very good and offer a taste for any beer drinker. All brewing is done behind the bar and in plain view of the customers. Very good pub-style food is served for lunch and dinner. Excellent Italian food! Definitely worth a visit.

6 beers on tap and they all tasted like slight variations of the same recipe. As they are very new we'll hope they are just getting things dialed in. We'll try back next season and see how things are coming along.
