What a comfortable place to drink or brew. Great for a group outing or flying solo. Always a colorful bunch at the tap. Don't be bashful, bring your own food or music. You might get a chance to eat, or play it between sampling some of the Detroit area's best brews. Cheers to Sandy, Bob and Jamar.

My dad and I stopped in while we were on our usual once a year microbrew binge. It wasn't at all what I expected it to be. The B.O.P. is an incredible idea and a taproom connected...All the beers we tried, and we tried them all, were great. The one bbl batch works well because while we were there Bob tapped another style so we go to try seven types. Plus the atmosphere was wonderful. We felt right at home. Jim Sushy must have paralized taste buds.

Great place to hang if you want the best beer in town! The owners are informative and friendly. Selection available in various lagers, ales, pilsners, ect.

My wife and I stopped in with our newborn a couple of weeks ago. Our usual hangout, Dragonmead, wasn't open yet, so we were looking for another brewery that wouldn't be smoke-filled. We were very happy we stopped in. The beer was very tasty, and Bob, the brewer, and his wife were pleasant, knowledgable and friendly. The fact Mrs. Bob was there with their new baby only added to our comfort and enjoyment of this down-to-earth oasis. We'll definitely be back.

Freshest beer around with the largest batches being only 1 bbl. They always have different styles on hand. Six on tap at all times with 12-20 styles bottled to go or to drink on premise. Clarence and Bob, the brewers, are very knowledgeable in brewing both on site and for the home brewer. They have home brewing workshops and are expanding thier home brewing inventory of supplies. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great. No food is served, however, munchies are available and bringing your own food or carry out is permitted. A great place to have a meeting or party of up to 20 people and hey, brew a batch or two while your there drinking and/or eating. They also have a small wine makers license. Really worth checking out!!!!!

Not much to look at and a little hard to find, but the idea is great. Their own beers really tasted good, much better than expected. Why make my own when I can drink theirs?! Go there during hockey season and have a good time.

None of the beers were undrinkable but they all taste the same. Maybe it's the special "cold filtering". Nice idea but they need more variety and attention to style in their recipes.
