If you find yourself in Prosser, seek this place out. It's a great example of not judging a book by its cover. We had a sampler tray, and all of the beer delivered. The German Hefe, although a bit big in body, was otherwise to style and very flavorful. The imperial stout was equally as good. Overall, the beer was very clean, well attenuated, and well brewed. I would have been happy to spend the day here. Make a point to stop at Whitstran, you won't be disappointed.

I don't like to use the term "awesome," but this place deserves better than "very good." This place has been in business since 1995. Business hours are Thursday: 1-5pm, Friday thru Sunday: 11-5pm, or anytime you want to gather there, just call (509)-781-1181.
We tried this place once before, but it wasn't during opening hours. Very glad we tried again. There must have been about 15 beers on the menu. We sampled 9 of them -- all clean, clear and very nice to savor.
The brewery and bar are located in a wine/beer/food area in the middle of wine country. To find this establishment, take Prosser exit #82, make a right, follow the RR tracks till you find a crossing. After that, make a right and look for Whitstran Brewing Company.
***The brewery is in the process of opening a brewpub in town this summer at 1427 Wine Country Road.***

Really enjoyed their Belgian Brown, Heavy Scottish and sweet yet heavy Barleywine. A small and cozy place where you can taste all their beers and chat with the friendly and informative owner/brewers.
A very welcome diversion during a tour of Washington wine country.

Great Pale and a very good Stout. This is worth the stop as you can also visit Cirque Brewery two doors down! You got to love breweries setting up shop in the heart of wine [snob]country. Be sure to say "Hi" to Barley the brewery cat!
