Was very pissed off to see last time i went down they had got rid of Adrien the best comedy act they had!!!but he now plays at the bare bottom beach club opposite... the only good thing now they have is the English cider!

People-this is just a bar. It is a very fun bar to get or be drunk in, but just a bar. Everyone who thinks that this is the greatest bar in the world was probably as drunk as I was. Everyone who had a terrible time is either A) no fun, B) too old to hang out there, or C) one of the people who the entertainers mocked and you have no sense of humor so you let it ruin your night. Good job, please stop complaining about it. You don't go to Key West to hear grammy winning music or classic pianists. If you do, you certainly don't go to Irish Kevin's to hear it. The entertainment is some of the most fun on the island, but DO NOT go if you have a prudish sense of humor. If you even think for a second that you may be one of these people who are no fun, you are.
On those who complain that it is not an authentic Irish Pub, thanks for the report. You should consider a career in journalism with a keen eye like that. Yes there are towns in the US that have great Pubs with great Irish music. If you live in one of these towns, congrats. You are special. If you are under the illusion that on a Key West vacation you should spend time sitting in an authentic pub listening to authentic music, you are probably not going to like this bar.

Can't miss St. Paddy's Day at Irish Kevin's. 2004 was just awesome. The Guinness was flowing, the sing-a-longs were loud and the waitstaff was great, especially the waitress that helped this lucky Leprechaun get his beer!

I am sure he moved from Ireland but coming from Ireland myself, I can tell you this is not an Irish Bar it is what is called a "Plastic Paddy" Bar.
It is the kind of bar you think exists in Ireland but the sad reality is that it doesn't, you are quite mistaken my friend, as a trip to Ireland will quickly demonstrate.
Bar, not bad, Adrian.....Adrian who..? Poor show. Other, not bad, Beer good, etc etc
Might be back but I prefer Capt Tony's.

Every city should have an Irish Kevins!! Last and greatest spring break ever was spent in the keys at this bar!! Better than Vegas. Every part that I can remember anyways. All the guys are hilarious. Jared gave the best show. He definitely made my trip memorable. If you want to escape life for awhile and have a mind blowing blast this is the place to be. Thanks for the great time. Be back in June.

we love this place we went there because me being english living in america i wanted to get some cider and we ended up staying for hours and met some great people. love adrean he's so funny we went back every night and guess what we will be there in march for bike week, can't wait to be there best bar in key west and best entertainment.

How could anyone not have a good time at this bar. I went on a cruise to several different countries, saw many wonderful things and all I can talk about is Irish Keven's bar. I pity the people who did not enjoy this truly unique and outrageusly fun experience. Oh, and for the yahoo who invited Kevin to go to Boston to see a "real Irish pub", THE GUY MOVED HERE FROM IRELAND IN 1992!!! So get over yourself. Might I humbly suggest to anyone who does not like this bar to go to there local Fridays restourant and sit on it. Where you from? No S---?!?!?!

I just got back from my second trip to Key West and as last year, we spent at least part of every night at Irish Kevin's!
You couldn't ask for a more crazy yet extremely friendly atmosphere. Get ready to sing along for hours no matter who is performing!

had a good time at "irish kevin's" however the guy that made an attempt to sing irish music should stick to his day job.as far as being an irish pub,it's not even close.kevin should take a trip to boston and get some idea's as how to transform his bar into an authentic irish pub.see you guys in january.

My buddy and I went into Kevin's for bite to eat and to get out of the rain. We ended up staying for almost 3 hours!! Taz Shepherd puts on a great show......"Hey!!!Where ya'll from??? Really?? A poor establishment.
The saving grace was the service...which was pretty good.
Shame about the rest......the music was ....well...think....talentless and then multiply.....beer was okay - might be back....next time I am in need of an outburst of ethical flatulence!!!
