Burdicks after its recent 30 million dollar make over is simply way too big. The food isnt good at all and usually it is cold. Generally way too loud.

I had dinner there last week and found the meal to be okay but the service, or lack there of, to be terrible! For a drink out with friends, it is great but I wouldn't stay to dine!

A great stop-over place on a pub crawl. They have great appetizers, but of the three times I've had dinner there the service was so slow (and unresponsive) my dinner always arrived cold and unappetizing. Business travelers staying at the Radisson (in the same building) would do well to head east one block to find better restaurants. The beer, however was always fresh, they offered a good selection of bottled imports and draft microbrews. Some of Kalamazoo Brewing Co's specialty stuff is available on tap here when it is not available at the Eccentric Cafe (KBC's taphouse). A pleasant place to have a brew and watch the pedestrians.
