What can I say but if your in the area, stop and eat and drink. Look for the large sign on Alt. 19, it's a short distance from the main highway. Plenty of parking and very informal. Everyone is friendly and check out the menu, lots of varity. You could spend time just studying the decor, you never know what you'll see when you look up! It's hardly disneyworld Florida, just what the off the beaten path Florida should be....

Do NOT miss this hidden jewel of a resturant if you want to discover the REAL Florida...An old "cracker" style house has been converted to a resturant; eat outside on the porch for that "I just came in off the beach" feel or go inside and spend your time gazing at all the stuff nailed to the walls (molly's did this before TGIFridays or Applebees ever considered it!) while you wait for the best bowl of gumbo your tastebuds ever encountered. Do not miss the blackened grouper or mahi-mahi, as a matter of fact, try anything grouper and you won't be disappointed. Totally fresh food, totally fresh resturant. Not a chain resturant, just a good, down to earth true Florida place to eat. If Jimmy Buffet is in the area, he'd be eating here for sure! We used to live here and always took friends and family here to see what good seafood was all about. Now we drive 18 hours to get back for our gumbo and grouper! It's worth it...yum!

Very good bar near the beach just north of St. Pete. Friendly and fun with excellent service. We always stop here when in the Tampa Bay area.
