Nice rotating selection of beers throughout the year. There IPA and the ESB are, in my opinion, one of the 10 best hop beers in the country. I am in the Lehigh Valley a couple of times a year and make it stop on my list of to-do's. All the good is great and the servise is always professional.

I was like a kid in a candy store. Excellent place, see my Bethlehem Brew Works review, that includes Steelgarden.

An amazing establishment to visit, and to work at. Every new beer they brew blows my mind. One day when you think of brewpubs only one will come to mind, Bethlehem Brew Works!

The Steelgaarden was such a great addition to this already excellent restaurant. It has a dark, friendly atmosphere, interesting music, tons of Belgian beers, and (of-course) their own BBW microbrews. Even on a weeknight there's almost always a few people lounging and hanging out or playing pool. On weekends it can get really packed in there, but you're still greeted with a smile and served in a jiffy! Thanks!

My girlfriend Annette and I have been patrons of the Steelgarden for almost 2 years. Friday nights after a meal upstairs, or at one of the other excellent restaurants in the downtown area, is just where we want to be enjoying the atmosphere and awesome beer selections. Great drinks BTW made by superb bar staff. Keep making the best beer around!

You see the reason I give the BBW awesome ratings is because everybody fails to realize that the FEGLEY family were newborns in the restuarant industry prior to April 1998 they had no restuarant experience; and still 4yrs later they continue to impress the Lehigh Valley(Bethlehem) which is not easy!! Awesome job guys & mom!!

Finally got to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and beer and this wonderful bar. A very cozy type place with a beer list second to few and prices to match. I would be there every day if I weren't 3 hours away! Wish they would open one down here.

The Steelgaarden is a juxtaposition; it is a trendy NYC bar located in the Lehigh Valley. Ranging from 70 imports full with distinctive character to exquisite home brews (especially the Scotch Ale), this classy bar is the place to be in the Lehigh Valley; a fantastic change of pace.

Very dark place, which I like. They have a Belgian on tap currently, which does not have the "Wrigley's spearmint gum" taste so common in Belgians. The bartender called it a "Scotch Ale Belgian". It was pretty darn good. They also have the oatmeal stout, which is PDG too.

The food, limited to a selection of pate and cheeses right now, is somewhat secondary to the awesome selection of Belgian Beers and the overall amosphere of the lounge. The full menu is offered upstairs in the Bethlehem Brew Works dining room. My "review" is merely the overall opinion of many of our regulars and newcomers. The Steelgaarden is unlike anything else in the Lehigh Valley.

Of course Mr. Fegley will give it a glowing review... He's a co-owner. I feel he's not being completely objective! But I must ask one question: Why only "great" on the food?

I'm there every Wednesday. It's definitely the most relaxing place to enjoy the excellent selection of beer. The Lindemans Framboise is fantastic as well as all the BBW brews, especially the IPA!!!!
