10 min East of I-75 - The food was fantastic. The beer selection spanned 8 pages including many great imports and micro's. Celis, Bells, Karmeliet, 90 min. IPA, etc. The restaurant was a little on the small side, felt a little cramped after a plate of goulash and spaetzel. If you're ever in KY it's worth the drive.

Marikka's has what beer connoisseurs are looking for. A huge selection that is approaching 500 varieties in bottles, with an emphasis on international beers. Around 20 on tap with more on the way. Excellent food with a German theme, and killer appetizers. (I have tried at least 20 different menu items, and have yet to be disappointed! A knowledgible staff that cares you are there, great with suggestions with a smile. An active neighborhood sports bar atmosphere with plenty of screens to watch your favorite sports if you choose. Pool tables and games to round it out. If I have one suggestion, it would be a better selection on tap, with more top notch international brews, like a Belgian, or English ale or two. I have been bringing friends to Marikka's for the last couple of month's, and they all have had a great time and plan to keep on coming! Maybe I'll see you there!

Best place to get a beer in Lexington by far! The selection of hundreds of beers will impress any beer lover. The menu breaks the beers down by country so take some $$$ and conquer all the world's beers!
