|
Pearl Street beers rival that of any and I repeat any microbrew. These guys truly care. The harvest their own hops for pete sakes. Many award winners here. Always a good brew try the oktoberfest brews, unfortunately these are not being served at oktoberfest in La Crosse this year.

This brewery brews the best beer I've ever had! Their Pale ale is outstanding and the rest are great, too! The barleywine is unmatched~

Being an international student in La Crosse and not really being kean on disco's and such the Bodega was the place to be!!!
The selection of beer is awesome! And the nights I couldn't figure out what beer I wanted I just spun the wheel. I mean, pay $2.50 and get an awesome tasting beer you would never have thought of bying.. Awesome...
The best bar I have been to in my entire life.. And that's a fact!!!!

This is the same place as the Bodega..but that is a GOOD thing!
If you even THINK of coming to La Crosse, this is the one place you should stop at. They had the Pale Ale and the Stout on tap on my last visit. Both were very good, and it was obvious that whomever is in charge of the brewing is well aware of his/her craft.
The Bodega also has countless beers from all over the world. If you're bored with the selection at the Bodega, you drink too damn much beer!

Joe Katchever keeps coming out with great brews! My favorites have been the Pearl Street Pale, organic rolled oat "That's What I'm Talkin' About" stout, Porter, Belgian Tripel (only a fond memory now...), and the Lederhosen Lager Oktoberfest.
