Moosehead is one of the reasons I moved to where I live now. It is about a mile and a half walk from my place. I'm addicted to Donnie's Blackened Chicken Wings. The Bee Stings are really good, too. My wife loves the burritos and we occasionally get one of the variations of the nachos. Another favorite of my wife's are the mashed sweet potatos. Its a great summer bar and has one of the best selections of good beer on tap in Charlotte. In regards to the two negative posts, I've never been overcharged, but have been undercharged a number of times. Perhaps someone who overdrinks may think they were overcharged at times. The owner is also really cool and laid back. If you don't like someone like Chris, then perhaps you should just keep to hanging out at the Palm and the Sunset Club. Moosehead isn't for uptight people.

I frequent Moosehead almost daily and the food is always stellar. It is the most laid back bar in Charlotte. Try the banana pudding to go.

I visited this place with co-workers for lunch on 1/23/07. One of my co-workers spilled his drink and the owner came over and said "Way to go F***ing Einstein! Its OK to be clumsy as long as you're smart." After finishing our meal we hung out for a bit he kicked us out along with another table because we were there to long (not even an hour). He asked us if we had jobs "Oh, I forgot you guys are salaried". It wasn't like there was a line of customers waiting to get in at 12:45. I don't know why this place is even open for lunch. The owner obviously doesn't value the customers or making money!

I lived in Charlotte during the late 90s, and this place ruled. Good crew, good patrons, and the best wings I've still ever had (the blackened...just typing it makes my mouth water).

Best small bar in Charlotte, great chef with great food. Outstanding tap selection of micros. I'm there everything Sunday. Try the seafood quesos or Donnie's Blackened wings!

This place is a great hangout with a changing micro beer selection. It has the best wings and cajun cooking in Charlotte. The blackened shrimp quesos are inbelievable.
