I purchased a six pack of the Rafter Amber Ale sometime ago at the IGA store in Boonville, Missouri. At the time I thought it to be such a superior brew that I emailed the company to find out where to buy. Never received a response back, but would like to try all their brews.

During my visit the styles of beer were not some of my favorites but the Bagnel Brown was good enough to buy a 6-pack and drag back to NY. It was even a little bitter, which always makes me happy. The raspberry was ok, but it was a typical fruit flavored beer. Amber was ok. Nothing to write home about but not bad. I still try to pick up some Bagnel Brown when ever I'm back in Missouri.

A good, difficult to find, place to visit. Is located in the Kenilworth House between a gas station and the airport and across the street from the Mexican Air Force restaurant. This establishment is definitely a proprietorship owned by a couple living in the area. The beer is quite good. Although it is a little thin, it's far better than a Budweiser or a Miller, and plenty of guest beers are provided. Usually, there are four Osage beers on tap, three to four Schlafly beers on tap and several other guest beers. The service is friendly (one of the owners gave me plenty of information on the brewery including several magazine articles about the establishment) but a little on the slow side. It seems the place is a little understaffed at times. Make sure you have a little time on your hands when you visit this establishment.
