I have a gift certificate to Bull & Finch purchased in August. When I went to the establishment Sunday, I found that it had closed several months earlier. Now I'm stuck with a $50 card I can't redeem. There seems to be no recourse in getting my money back.

HELLO TO THE CREATORS OF THE B&F ON THE PENINSULA. i HAVE OWNED A DELI IN MYRTLE BEACH CALLED DAGWOOD'S DELI FOR SIX YEARS. I OPENED A PUB CALLED BUMSTEADS PUB JUST OVER A YEAR AGO. i LOOKED FOR INSPIRATION FOR A YEAR AND THEM SOME FOR DESIGN IDEAS PRIOR TO BUILDING MY OWN PUB. yOUR NEW PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND A TOTAL INSPIRATION FOR BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS TO COME IN THE FUTURE FOR MY COMPANY. WOW IS HOW I FELT WHEN I VISITED CHARLESTON AND YOUR NEW PLACE. tO ADD TO MY AMAZEMENT I USED TO WORK AT THE ESTABLISHMENT CALLED "CHEF & CLEF" WHICH USE TO OCCUPY THAT VERY SPACE. SO I KNOW THE VERY SURROUNDINGS WITH A HAUNTING FAMILIARITY. tHE DAY I STARTED THEY WENT THROUGH 200 SERVERS THAT YEAR ALREADY. i WONT TELL YOU HOW LONG I COULD "STOMACH" THE EXPERIENCE. BOTTOM LINE THE DESIGNERS AND THE VISION BEHIND YOUR NEW STORE IS MORE THAN GREAT AND I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST OF LUCK!!!!

The service is the worst I have ever had. I had 6 adults and 1 baby (under 1), but I had to pay this lousy waitress a $13.93 tip and then they had the nerve to ask for more on the charge slip!! It took them 22minutes to run my credit card. I don't believe that a baby should be counted as the 7th person so that they can charge an 18% tip - especially since he didn't eat anything!!! The food was GREAT, but I'm not going to go back there and be abused that way.

This is the 2nd Bull & Finch in the Charleston Area, the 1st being in Mt. Pleasant. They have an English pub setting, with a traditional English menu...From Bangers & Mash, to Shepards pie-- you will find it all here. The English are also adept at the consumption of fine beer, so you will find a great selection of both American Lagers and popular English Ales on tap. This is also a great place to go for top local live music, they never charge a 'cover'. From the food, beer and service, all is very well presented and worthy of many a return.
