Worst service ever, especially for such a descent looking place. I have been there 4 times thinking that it was just an "off" day for them. But NOPE! everytime so far, the service has been aweful. I was neglected, empty drinks and water, only one guest was asked if they wanted anything, etc. Terrible!

We had been here before and it was ok and we were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for a drink. We sat and sat and sat for 15 min. The busboy set our table but no one ever came to bring us a menu, take a drink order, anything! We felt stupid and got up and left! Then we went to Capers which was much better food and service!

I have on good authority that Stoddard's in Campbell, Ca. will be reopening soon. It will be a great success. Campbell's has not been the same without Bob Stoddard. Our city will welcome him back with open arms and empty beer mugs. He is respected and loved by his employees, customers (friends), friends (customers), brewers, and of course his children and family!!! Sincerely, Christine (Campbell resident)

This place focuses more on their appearance and the food. WTF? It's supposed to be a brewery, but that seems like it's there only cuz' they need the equipment because of the name. Food was good ($$$$$ though). Beer sucked in my opinion and the service was awful.
Do yourself a favor and head down the street to Rock Bottom or better yet, SJ Tied House. You'll be better off.

TRIED THE PALE ALE, THE "ESB", AND THE PORTER. ALL WERE VERY GOOD. FOOD WAS EXCELENT, WITH GOOD PORTIONS, BUT HIGHER PRICED THAN MOST "PUBS". WENT ON A SUNDAY AND THE FARMER'S MARKET WAS JUST A BLOCK AWAY. LOCATED IN THE "OLD TOWN" WHICH THE CITY LOOKS TO BE TRYING TO KEEP THAT WAY.

The Pale Ale is great. The other brews are good. Food is a little pricey, but good quality overall. Nearly identical to their Sunnyvale location.

I would agree with the last comment. The people are there, the location is great, and the city of Campbell is starting to be an "en vogue" place to hang out. Having a DJ spinning 80's, 90's, current tunes in the dining area downstairs would be a great idea. Who knows, maybe they will get more business!

You know what would make this place rock? If they would open up the dining area and turn it into a night club on Fridays and Saturdays.
