Can't really comment on anything but the selection: PDC wasn't open yet when I stopped in and talked to the manager. The selection WAS impressive: not huge, but the guy is getting bang for the buck on his cooler space. "I have beer ADD," Dave McCombie said; "I just can't have the same beer twice!" It shows. There are four taps and a handpump, but you'll go for the bottles, a full range of Dogfish Head, plenty of micros and imports.

The deli could be so much better. The kitchen is never open when the hours say it is. The bands are terrible. The bartenders are GREAT but the draft is flat and tastes like water. It seems to me the owners of this place need to put some effort into it. They repainted but it couldn't hide how filthy the bar is. The bottled beer is good though. The food is ok very inconsistant and SLOW. Deli: ask yourself this; Why were you the best place in town 2 years ago and why is every other bar busy on a saturday night and you are dead as a doornail? Fix these problems before it is too late. Don't even get me started on the Management. I asked to see a manager I got some poorly dressed thug looking guy from the kitchen who has the personality of a rock. I'm sorry but the other two place owned by the deli suck even more. The Deli used to be great. But not no more

I think that the PDC could honestly be the best kept secret in the Tri-State area. Great food, great service, and great times pretty much sum up a night at 728 Copeland Street. The only thing missing from the Deli is that really tall, good-looking guy with the big ears who used to hang out there every night.

I like this place a lot, but they keep having this terrible DJ RA "scratch" his lousy turntables there. It's no cover, of course when he is there. He sounds HORRIBLE! Me and my buddies need to leave sometimes and not get buzzed because our heads are pounding with bad music. (If you consider it music, which we don't) DO NOT GO ON TUESDAY NIGHTS!!

i'd have to say i made my first visit to the deli at night, so i got only the bar experience, but i had the best time. the people were great and the employees were so cool. i was totally satisfied with the vast selection of beer and outdone by the food because it wasn't "bar food" per say, plus it was fresh and good! pgh deli is a place to hang out and be yourself. i'm definitely going again.

pghdeli has a laid-back, feel-good atmosphere to go along with the food. the overall goodness you get from the deli is a combination of the service, quality ingredients in the food, and the spectacular selection of beer. i couldn't recommend a better experience!

Pittsburgh Deli Co. is a solid staple in the East End of Pittsburgh (read Shadyside)... Parking can be a pain and you are likely to have to feed a meter or park in the nearby garage..
Pittsburgh Deli serves made to order sandwichs with great variety and quality...
Upstairs you will find the more formal bar area.... They stock a good variety of micros to go with that fresh sandwich you are about to eat...
