I've gone to several of these across the state of Texas. The food is always good and I love the Nutty Brunette that they brew on-site. They have a decent happyhour. One Friday they special was 1/2 price ind. pizzas which are amazing. Actually, I do not think I've ever had any food item there that was not amazing. Me and my party had a great time and the waitress did a great job with such a huge party. I highly recommend this place.

I have to say that my visit is the exact opposite of the last review. I was there on Saturday 5/26 at about 5:00 in the bar section. My server was prompt and attentive and had no trouble explaining the beers that came with the sampler set. I sampled: brewhouse blonde, piranha pale, jeremiah red, nutty brewnette, pm porter, tatonka stout, pooks pils and the bock. All the beers were mildly flavored which is okay but a little more hop in the pale and the red would be a good thing. My favorite was the porter. When I ordered food I was concerned when it arrived at my table less than a minute after placing the order. My server and the runner were both at my table at the same time so I sent the plate back to the kitchen. The plate returned to my table in about 5 minutes and it was piping hot and very good. This was the chicken fried steak.

We have eaten at bj's before and had a good expierience, but tonight it was gross and the waitstaff and manager were ver rude! We ordered our appetizer and it took a long time, so I asked the waiter if it was coming soon he said it would be out before our food, so we get our appetizer, and about 2 minutes later we get our food. It was a cold day today so I ordered the chili and it came out cold! They put sour cream on the chili, I told the waiter it was cold and he took it, when he brought it back he said that he ran it through the oven, and he did! The sour cream was curdled and the bread bowl was soggy! YUCK! We also ordered the chicken sandwich with a baked potato and it was cold too. We asked to speak to the manager, and a young kid, not much older than 18 came out and said, yeah I'm sorry, I can give you a dessert, we still got charged for the food that we didnt even eat! I dont think that kid was the manager, our overall expierience was horrible, I didnt even get to finsh my beer. We ended up going to Red Robin and I ordered a bowl of chili and it was hot and delicious and about 1/2 the price of bj's! I am very disappointed with the bj's establishment!

I've made two visits to this BJs now, the most recent on Dec. 23 after my son's wedding reception just half a block away. The first time, last January, I went with my other son, and was agreeably pleased with the Southwestern fare and the beer selection and quality. Alas, I prefer genuine brewpubs that craft their beers on-site. BJ's contracts for its crafted beers, but they are quite good. On Dec. It's also a sports bar, but it is not deafening like the Two Rows up the Tollway we went to the night before (see separate review). Seven of us sat together and enjoyed a nice conversation without having to yell over the volume of the game being shown. Happy hour there is 9-11 p.m., which was after we left. I ordered a pitcher of red ale for the others, and a brown ale for myself, then made myself a black and tan with the red when my brown was half gone. Delicious! We had just been to a reception, so we didn't have any food other than chips and salsa. I did see some delicious-looking, and ample, pasta dishes at other tables that I may have to try next time, because I will go back there if I'm in the area instead of to Two Rows, although Big Buck in Grapevine still has both of them beat.

Large place. Very happening atmosphere even on a weeknight when we went. Beer selection was very good. Food was outstanding. Everything from pizza to American. But the amosphere made this place memorable. Web site has movie preview of what you can expect and it lived up to those expectations.

Beer is about what you would expect from a chain. Good but not spectacular. Food was above average, service was excellent, and nice atmosphere.

Great place. Sports bar oriented with a great selection of beers. Brew sample tray very good. Missing IPA, but their Paranha Pale Ale made up for it. Tried their Chicago style pizza, very good. If you like Belgian beers check their selection, watch the prices though!
