So So Lousy Good Lousy Lousy
Went there on a Sunday expecting the “Sunday Brunch” mentioned on their website…no such luck…just the everyday menu. Ordered a sampler (they call it THE "FLOUNDER" - hey, it’s Cape Cod…), and was advised by the waitress that all of their taps were down except for the IPA. Which she offered a sample of. It wasn’t bad, but I ordered a bottled beer and the waitress didn’t bring a glass. When a glass was requested, our waitress provided it with ice in it! At this point I was ready to cut my losses and leave before the food was served! The food was decent, which was a relief, but the service was awful & they were out of things they should have had, in addition to the beer.

Bottom line: This place is a joke, and a sad one at that!

Good Good N/A Lousy So So
As an avid homebrewer and beer enthusiast in general I researched the Cape Cod area for brew pubs before my vacation. I looked forward to the Hyport Brewery for a month before I was actually able to finally stop by. I must have caught them on a bad night. It wasn't crowded, but my group could not find anybody to serve us. After waiting at the bar for ten minutes, I managed to catch the eye of an indifferent bartender named Helena. The much awaited IPA was tasty - nice and hoppy although I would have liked a little more mouthfeel from the malt. Overall, a decent beer. I intended to stay the night and critique as many beers as I could, but my vote was overturned by my crew who were thirsty. Maybe by the next time I head north Hyport will have cycled through new wait staff. Overall, bad experience killed my desire to enjoy beer - that is a feat unto itself.

Awesome! Great So So Great Great
Currently is the only microbrewery on Cape Cod

Brewmaster Todd Marcus has 8 brews avalible at all times. He was just ready to release a Cranberry wheat when I was there 2weeks ago. It and all the other brews I sampled were excellent. Pub has great ambiance also.
