My favorite place in Seattle. If you are a beer novice (or have a novice friend) who wants to experience the amazing spectrum of tastes that beer covers, check out BPP. I'm a hop-head, and love the full floral assault of a strong IPA, but every type of beer is represented here, and all are the best in their class. Get to BPP soon, as they will be moving next door in the next few months... the beers and the people won't change, but the feel of the place...?

The Beveridge Place rates one of my rare string of Awesomes. This is my idea of a neighborhood pub. The atmosphere is relaxing, and they have an outstanding line-up of beer just waiting to be quaffed. I would never hesitate to return!

The Beveridge Place offers a relaxing atmosphere, tight, supportive community and a genuine education on beer. The staff if knowlegable and kind. The one thing it doesn't have is a kitchen. This is more than compensated for by the long list of restaurants that deliver to you here. Some exclusively. It is also important to note that the lack of a kitchen meens you can come in and have a brew with your best friend even if he is a dog.

Consistently one of the best places in Seattle to drink beer. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable. At least 15 different beer selections on tap at anytime plus a wide selection of Belgian beers in bottles. The front bar is beautiful, with couches, games, and tables for your relaxation. The back room has pool tables and smoking is allowed in the back. My one minor complaint, is that they don’t serve food. But there is a wide selection of menus from local restaurants that do deliver.

I work here so i will not rate the service that would be biased. I will say that the BPP has taught me so much about beer and the people that truly enjoy it!

This bar is a great place to hang out. The beer selection is really good, with about 20 beers on tap. The crowd is friendly and eay to talk to. The environment is really fun: half with couches, borad games books and coffee tables; the other with pool tables darts and foos ball. Great place to hang out, have a good time, and get a delicious beer.

This is quite a nice little pub. While there was no food to be eaten, they do let you take in whatever you want, or even get delivery.
With about 20 beers on tap, you aren't left wanting for selection (moreso than anything, you might find yourself confused, a sampler or three would solve that), aside from the beers on tap they have a large quantity of bottles to choose from that spans the world.
The environment is about as good as a pub can get. Laid back, with sofas, books, and games, it's much more relaxed than most bars/pubs I've been to.
It's a few thousand miles away from me, but I'll be back.

Probably the most inspired draught beer selection I've ever seen, and a good selection of bottled beers, especially Belgian.
Smoky pool and games room in the back, but in the front is a cozy, open, smoke-free lounge with board games and books - service is at the bar.

This is one of the best of the best. The draught beer selection is unsurpassed, esp. during fests, brewers' nights, and firkin nights. The bottled beer selection is astonishing. You'll find things here that will only be found in 2-3 other places in the country (though you're probably too late for the Drie Fonteinen Millenium). The owners and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The regulars are nice too. The front room is one of the most homey comfy places to drink great beer. The back room is more for the electronic noises, smoke, and games crowd. Easy access to many bus routes so you won't have to drive home. If you're driving and you've had a bit too much to drink there are plenty of great beer books and board games to amuse you while you mellow out. Skal!

I really like this place!!
Gary and Terry (the owners) have done an excellent job in making this such a fun place to hang out. The beer selection here is second to none and that's true for the beer on tap as well as the bottled beer. Once again, Terry and Gary have done an excellent job in finding only the best beers (the Christmas beers were sooooo good). And a tip of the hat to Ian (one of the bartenders). The man knows his beers and is always willing to make a suggestion or two if a patron finds him or herself confused as to what to order. I have yet to try a bad beer from any of the beers he has suggested.
I hope this establishment is around for a long time!! Viva Beveridge Place Pub!!

OK, I'll admit it - I'm prejudiced... mainly because I know Gary and Terri and actually helped them with the remodel. I also know their mindset regarding beer, having traveled with them in Europe, beerhunting. Gary and I both are Belgian freaks and only hit the CAMRA pubs when we were in the UK so you can see where his beer list comes from. He goes out of his way to find the local treasures and showcase them at BPP. He does a deliberate job of finding the best local brews by keeping in constant contact with the brewing community and jumping on the best Seattle has to offer. Quality is the byword there, draught or bottle. He does regular beer festivals (the barleywine fest is coming up soon) and the rotation changes regularly so keep checking the tap lineup. So neighborhood pub, eh? There's no food in house there yet, but it's coming. And you can bring in your own or order delivery from local places. It's even dog friendly! A too cool place to hang, especially on a rainy Saturday.

They have really done alot to make this pub comfortable and friendly. They were able to take the space they had and create two completely different feels to the place. On the one hand they have the classic game room with pool, darts, and video games, and on the other hand they have the non-smoking sit down and have conversations with your friends over a board game. Great job! Of course you can't do a proper job of reviewing the Beveridge Place Pub witout mentioning that their beer selection is wonderful! two thumbs up for this local West Seattle hangout.
