It is with regret that I must report that my friend Keiron Meaney has found it necessary to close The Blue Meaney. All of us who enjoyed the beer, food, and hospitality there feel a real loss. Toronto has lost a great pub. Thanks to Kei and the staff there for all the great times! The place will be missed.

I read the reveiws on this site and was in Toronto on business. It is all true what an great wee pub. Food and beer is excellent, friendly staff, highly recommended. K the owner is some character, a true publican. I especially liked the real ales, very fresh and tasty. A true destination while in Toronto

This wee pub is a winner. The staff is superb. Had some food and some cask conditioned ales and I was in heaven. Can't wait untill the patio opens. A must visit if you are in Toronto. I met the owner K and he reminds of the publicans I have met in my travels. A top notch host who is willing to talk to people and doesn't mind the odd pint.

The Blue Meaney is a great new pub in the Yonge/Eglinton area. It features 12 taps devoted to microbrews and two handpumps dispensing cask ales, as well as a good selection of bottled beers. The food is innovative and excellent There are daily specials and a brunch on Sat. and Sun. It's a small, cozy place with a friendly, helpful staff[many will be remembered from the Bow & Arrow]. An outdoor patio will be available in the back as soon as weather allows. I enjoyed a great meal on New Years eve that featured four courses prepared with beer. Each was served with an appropriate beer from Black Oak Brewery. Seek this place out when you're in Toronto and enjoy a few pints and a meal!
