I was there this May. They fetured their Maibock. It was outstanding. One of the best beers I've ever tasted. I have no idea how it can taste so fresh, after being shipped from Germany. The food is outstanding. Yes, the beer is a bit pricey, but if you look at the whole place as entertainment, with the bands, beer hall and beer garden, it's well within the Las Vegas price for food beer and entertainment. My wife and I spend the whole afternoon there and had a great time. We can't wait to go back again. If you can, go there in May, for their Maibock. You won't be dissappointed

Stopped off for lunch mid-week. Small crowd meant great service. Only three beers available, no sampler. I went with Dunkel and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I was stationed in Germany for three years and have been to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich five times. This place really takes me back. Great "Jagersnitzel" and of course the Dunkel Bier. Was in Vegas for the D1 Drifting and Drag Race but had to go to this place to check it out. It is really worth it. I know the Hofbrauhaus in Munich has a so called "Puke Bowl" in the restroom but never had the chance to check out if they have one in this place. Gonna visit this place again on my next trip to Vegas.

The food and the service were outstanding. Real comfortable dining area, and again the Weisse beer is the real deal. Worth the stop.

Ah, the real deal. Fresh German beer imported and served for you in a 50 gallon stein. Well, it seemed that big. The Disneyland-esqe quality is a little creepy, what with the artificial skyline and the never-ending oompa-band. Always Oktoberfest here!!!

A must see when in town. The hefeweizen is the real deal. We sat in the bar, but walked through the dinnig room, and the wonderful "courtyard". I'll have to come back and sit in the "courtyard" and have a beer and a brat with spicy mustard.

A good alternative to the maze of establishments on the Strip. For those who don't mind walking, it's about a mile or so (1.25?) east of the Strip. The trek will help you burn off some calories. The beer prices are not much of a bargain over those in town; around $11 for a liter, and $6.50 per half liter. The food was classic German, and service above average. Their beer styles included a very nice hefeweizen, a good dunkel, and a generic type we didn't sample (NOTE: they WON'T give you samples!). Also, a "cellar" seasonal, deemed a pilsner, but not very hoppy. I'd love to see them stock a rauchbier and perhaps a few more distinct choices.

A welcome addition to the beer scene here and the only place in the US where I had beer that tasted as good as it did in Germany. That's because they import their beer from HB in Munich - as was their chef when they opened. Lots of fun and the only bar in Vegas that closes at a reasonable hour rather than allowing you to stay out too late.

I just came back from Vegas. This place was so good I went twice. I had a Liter Stein of the HB Original. It tasted just like the ones I had at the original in Munich. The food was great. Very authentic, tasted just like my O'ma's. (for you Germans out there, you know who O'ma and O'pa are). It's a must see on your trip to Vegas.

This isn't really a beer place to me; they brew their own, but only had a choice of two when we went in October '04. It is, however, a GREAT TIME! The food was excellent and the company at our table (you have no choice of neighbors) was just fun as could be. The German band was a little corny, but could not have been more fun. The contests were a blast. One table was celebrating someone's 21st B-day. Did I mention we had fun?

I was at the Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas during their Octoberfest celebration. What a great time! The entertainment was awesome and very authentic. The beers were all German style lagers which is what you would expect at a German beer hall. I must admit that I'm more of an ale guy but all the beers I tried were good. The food and service were great. I would certainly return here the next time I go to Vegas. It was an all around fun experience.

Almost an exact copy of the original in Munic, Germany - it was a highlight to my trip in August. The Dunkel (dark) was superb, some Schnitzel and a pretzel made me feel like I was back in Bavaria. At first glance, someone not knowing would assume that the place is a tourist trap; and some ways it is. But I think it adds some much needed character to Vegas - I intend to go there again.

Excellent HB Dunkel on tap to go along with great Schnitzel (order fries as a side for that authentic Bavarian meal). Has appearance of tourist place, but is a good rendition of the original HB Haus in Munich, closer than most in the U.S. Beer selection is appropriate for a real German restaurant. Friendly, fast service.
