I've been going to this place since it opened. Except for the ground upon which it is built, it started out as an authentic Irish pub. The place was designed and built in Ireland, taken apart, shipped here and reassembled. Much of the original staff was imported as well. Good Irish food and beer, as you might expect. The Irish staff has dissipated, but it's still an nice place to go. I don't go as often as I used to, since they banned cigars until after 10 PM. Allegedly this is the top pick-up bar in Ann Arbor, but I'm not a twenty something, so I can't verify that.

I don't know what that guy is talking about. If you are at an Irish pub, you may want to have some Irish Draughts. By the way, best Guinness I have had in the states. Staff is great there as well.

This bar is in no way a "beer bar" and simply does not deserve to be on this site. It's one more pathetic attempt to manufacture Irish authenticity. Taps are terribly predictable: Guinness, Murphy's, Bass, Harp, etc, etc.

I was at the bar that night, not with the aforementioned party but all that that person wrote is true. The general manager was really offensive. Otherwise, the night was okay- much better bars elsewhere in AA.

Girl came w us was only 18, never had to show id and not only did they keep serving her beer, the waiter kept hitting on her and getting her free ones! It was pathetic, he kept asking her what she was doing after. We talked to the general manager and she just screamed obscenities. i love this town but this is an AWFUL AWFUL place. 8 of us wholeheartedly do not reccommend.

Very successful in their attempt to be a traditional Irish pub...ciders, stouts, ales, all straight from the British Isles. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable, their are fun evening activities, and overall a good time.
