There is a young (I am over 50 so young is based on that perspective) couple that owns and operates this place now and are trying to head for an Irish style pub. I tried the place on a Wed. No food on Tue. and Wed. The bartender will microwave some popcorn for you, which I feel is definenitly a step above the pre-packaged stuff. On draft they had Guiness, Harp, Bass, Newcastle, Dogfishead Indian Brown, Sam Adams, Magic Hat Blind Faith, Newport Storm Amber, Stella Artois, Killians and Woodpecker Cider . The owner said they were looking into moving something else into the Stella slot but had not yet decided. Nearly 100 beers in the cooler. Some highlights were; Beamish Irish Stout, Belhaven Scottish Ale. Dogfishhead 60 Min IPA, John Courage, Negra Modelo, Old Thumper, Seadog IPA, Seadog Blueberry, Sam Adams seasonal, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Hoegaarden, Erdinger Champ, Fullers ESB, Harpoon IPA, Saranac Pale Ale and Long Trail Ale. They currently in the process of trying to purchase another cooler in order to expand the quality of their selection. Not a beer bar especiale yet but has a lot of potenial. The place has that local bar look to it and the decore might need some fine tuneing to some peoples way of thinking. The menu is small, sandwiches and pizza. There are pub specials now and then that include Shepards Pie and Bangers & Mashed.
