April 4, 2008. Dinner. Food was substandard and cold for all four of us at our table. Seating was in a remote area of the restaurant despite a reservation.

the beer is excellent. they have a good selection. I love the cask drawn beer. I had the chile which was great. I had to add tabasco to to the chile to make it awesome. the atmosphere is fun. service fantastic. above all it's a unique location. this where the koodos end.
I also had a salad. it had way too much dressing. my friend had the hot wings. there is nothing speci about the wings. though the thai sauce is probably the best. the pizzs is saltine with prego sauce and cheap cheese. 10 dollars for a pizza is a crime. I mentioned the atmosphere is great but the music... pop 40...
we shared the above with the manager. they are working hard to improve the food. I want to give them another try... but for several months

We loved this place. We visit brewpubs all over the country and the atmosphere here is 2nd to none!!

Good Beer, Great atmosphere, Bad Food! They could do a lot with a new chef. Stay away from the beef and the salmon.

Stopped by when visiting my parents for Christmas. They have a few nice beers, but nothing outstanding. I was impressed that they do offer a ten beer sampler. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

The Steam Plant Grill not only serves Coeur d'Alene Brewing Company beer, but brews a large majority of it on sight. The Lakeside British Ale and Bourbon Vanilla Stout are topnotch beers. The food, service, and Steam Plant atmosphere are great!
