Being the first Monty's Korner I have visited, there was a nice selection of beer on tap. What surprises me about Rochester is a couple of beers dedicated to BCs. At the moment, I don't remember what this stands for, but it is a contract brewing establishment that brews a variety of beers. This location had an Octoberfest Lager and UBU Brown. The Octoberfest did not remind me of an Octoberfest at all, and the Brown was supposed to be similar to New Castle. I actually liked this better than New Castle, but didn't want a whole pint. I ended up drinking a Sleeman's IPA on tap and Victory Hop Devil in the bottle. I was pleasantly surprised at that offering (Victory). A good place to come for a beer or two, but my first choice in this area is the Old Toad just down the street.
