I recently moved down here from northern California. I met a friend at the Harp Inn, and was HUGELY dissapointed. Ladies: if you're looking for a place to feel even human, don't go here. Suggest to your date that you go anywhere else.
The selection might be something a guy would love: TV screens showing any and all sporting events, however, the wait staff is abhorent.
Particularly "John" the bartender. He was beyond rude. I have never been treated so poorly. I am in sales and appreciate good customer service. These people apparently think that because they are in orange county they have carte blanche to treat people (especially women) like second-class citizens.
If you're looking for a good time: look elsewhere. I even complained to two members of managment and they merely shrugged and turned away.
The music was so loud I could not hear the bartender, and after I asked him to repeat himself twice, he looked at the man next to me and circled his finger near his head, and said, "whoo!!!!" to imply I was drunk or crazy. I was neither.
If you enjoy being treated like shit, then by all means ladies, go there. If you would like a reward for a long week at work and to be treated like a regular customer, go anywhere else.
Does it really matter what their selection is like if it is served with attitude? I don't think so.
