The bottled beer selection is astounding for this area. The rotating taps always have something worth trying. The bartender (girlfriend of owner) was extremely knowledgable about their beers and others. The tragic aspect of this establishment is that they allow smoking. Enjoying the aroma of a fine beer is impossible.

The owners have the beverage angle covered although bring lots of $$$$ cuz it ain't cheap. The food.....they need to get FRESH food; sandwiches, soups, etc. What they have now is passable. The parking is always a challenge too.

i would suggest this as a great place to go to taste some of the better beers around. The prices are very reasonable ( about $3.00 to $3.50 per bottle)with a fantastic selection. There are about 8 tap beers including Magic Hat # 9 and Troegs Troegenator. But the real treat is their selection of bottles ( 250-300)mostly micro brews and imports,wow.They have a neat little gimmick going with a list of 50 different beers and if you drink them all you get a plaque with your name on it on the bar. The food is excelent although I so far have only tried the pizza and steak sandwiches,I have wanted to try other things but the pizza is too good to not order.During the time when college is in session get there before 9 PM because after 10 - 10:30 PM it gets jammed with the students who seem to be opening up their tastebuds to some really great beer as opposed to the other stuff.The beer is really fresh because the owners only buy one case of a certain brand and style at a time,so it is fresh when they get it and stays that way. You can also buy assorted 6 packs there to go.This is the place to go to try all the great beers you may have heard and read about without having to worry about getting old beer like some places in the valley.

great new beer bar new muhlenberg college in allentown - about 300 bottles, cold and fresh. all the beer is kept cold and out of the sun. pizza is thin crust and very tasty. college kids don't show up til after 10pm. check it out.
