Not only is the beer not brewed by a "Charleston Brewing Company" - there is no such place (the address given on their website is a P.O. box). This is another one of those groups of "boutique" beers, brewed by a brewer/company having nothing to do with, and in fact nowhere near, the area associated with the beers' purported "home" town, passing them off as being "local" beers, in substance if not in form. I can't speak for the quality of the beer - I was so put off by the phoniness of the marketing gimmick, I didn't buy any. If you want to try some beers actually brewed in Charleston, seek out Palmetto Brewing Company's products - they are excellent, as well as being truly "Charlestonian."

Three beers: Half Moon Hefe Weizen, East Bay IPA, and Lagerhead Lager. The bottle labels indicate that they're contract-brewed at Wild Goose in Frederick, Maryland.
