This is a great place, and you all ought to try it out.

But I want to respond to allegations that Sewickley is "high style". Someone from Wexford calling Sewickley "high style"? Excuse me, but Wexford is far higher style than Sewickley. I do not understand how we acquired such a rep.

Sewickley is located between Ben Avon/Belleview the south, Leetsdale/Ambridge to the north and corapolis to the west. Not too far away is Aliquippa. Sewickley has many thousands of square feet of low rent apartments, section 8 housing, etc.

Wexford has a lexis, mercedes, hummer, volvo, bmw dealerships. Wexford borders cranberry twp and it's extension, Seven Fields, with more high brow establishments than you can shake a stick at. And where are sewickley's high dollar restaurants? Hyeholde? Oh, that's in Moon Twp. Stone Mansion? Oh, that's in Wexford. Wooden Angel? Beaver.

I am tired of the reverse snobbery "I'm a blue collar pittsburgher" attitude which Sewickley constantly is the brunt of.

And to be fair, no place in pittsburgh, with maybe the solitary exception of walnut street in Shadyside, truly qualifies as high style. In order to experience this, you need to visit south beach, the hamptons, vail colorado, certain districts of Manhattan, certain spots in California, NMA Chicago, etc. Get real.

Awesome! Awesome! N/A Great Great
20 taps, 250+ bottles. Nice interior, bar area very neat, a good look with the exposed ceiling. Seemed to be pricier than the other two locations, if only marginally. Enjoyed a Bornem Double while I checked the place out. Waitstaff (almost too) eager to be helpful, even when it wasn't needed. Brunch on Sunday is offered. Specials through the week seem to parallel the other Edges. Comfortable place.

Awesome! Great Great Great Great
They do have regular burgers! Same as the other Sharp Edge locations. They just rewrote the menu and they are deemed "Build-a-Burgers" now so you can create your own from a plain ordinary beef burger, same as the other 2 stores. They also have the full range of gourmet/game burgers, too. They are also taking a great pizza, a standard at the other 2 stores, and dressing it up too. Had a great BBQ Chicken and Med Veggie. Loved them both on the Bornem XX shell. Had dinner there twice and it was incredible, too. Salmon tart was delightful and filling and the Strip steak melted in my mouth! Also have a great selection of daily specials to choose from too, unlkike the other stores.

Beer selection is great, love the 6 pack shop and I think their selection may be a bit better than the other 2 stores due to more room for more bottles. Wish they had a better micro selection, but they more than make up for it with alot of choice Belgians. Six-pack shop is cool because you can walk it yourself and pick and choose at your leisure as opposed to bother a bartender forever while you choose. Also has a really cool bottler chiller to chill anything held warm for table service.

Overall it is nice, different than the other 2 but not in a bad way! Love the food, atmosphere is great, decor is MUCH better that the red/white/green of the others. Service has been impecable on multiple visits. I love this rebirth of an old favorite! Cheers!

This is not your fathers Sharp Edge. This one definitely has a different feel to it, from the menu to the clientle. This is Sewickley after all. High society area and you could see it everywhere. That aside, it is a beautiful establishment, and the service we received from Megan, the bartender, couldn't have been any better. We'll go back because of her. They had 2 micro's on tap and a mystery beer, and the balance of the taps, 12-15, are Belgians. Just don't expect to find wings, or a regular hamburger on the menu. The burgers are buffalo, ostrich, turkey, Kobe, or veal. This is Sewickley by the way.
