I frequent Troopers every Friday. The crowd typically stays the same. I've never seen a fight, and it's usually a very friendly, high-spirited and fun. Occasionally you'll see a child with a parent, but they're all gone by 10pm.
Food is fantastic, both in taste and price. I highly recommend the Crab-Cheese Fries. Jukebox is overpriced. The highlight is the service. There are a good amount of really interesting people working for Troopers. I'd like to thank Casey for being the best of the bunch.
If you want a great place to sit down, enjoy a pint, listen to some music and possibly have some good chats, I recommend it.

very good beer selection. shots are way overpriced - get them in before or after you visit this place. food is very good and priced decent. service is always good - can't say that i've ever had any problems or complaints. but - i have one problem with this place. everytime i go in it's mostly packed with young college dudes. it's always busy and crowded which can be cool - but the male / female ratio is way off. i'd suggest avoid the late night scene and stop in earlier for beers.

Trooper Thorns is a very cool pub that is closer than most of us think. The food is very good and they have traditional pub food as well. A really nice deck was built out back and is a very cool place to hang out in the summer months.
You can expect to find a variety of people there depending on the time you visit and what season it is. The day and evening crowd is a professional older group and offers a comfortable relaxed enviroment to kick back in. In the later evening you can expect the College crowd but there are very little problems with them. The only downfall to this place is the size. It can get crapmed fast depending on the crowd but I recommend it to everyone.
