The pub has been called " The most authentic Irish Pub in all of Buffalo, New York" by many. There is a tradition of feeling very welcome here. Many have called this their place for many years. McCarthy's is in the center of all the excitement for many events in the First Ward. The Shamrock Run, Old First Ward Parade and the Buffalo Riverfest.
As new ownership took over, the pub has updated its taps, and there are often as many as ten micro or craft beers on tap, along with the local standards.
The ownership takes pride in the pub's beer selection and works closely with its patrons to assure a fresh, well enjoyed variety at all times.
McCarthy's is a great place in the Heart of the Old First Ward in Buffalo to belly up to the bar, throw back a few well served pints (along with their amazing wings or Roast Beef Sandwiches!)
