In town for a ballgame at the stadium next door. Not a huge beer selection but everything they had was very good along with several guest taps. I had an IPA and because it was on nitro the Stout. My friend had the Kolsh style light which was very drinkable. From the sampler the Maple Porter was delicious only gametime got in the way to keep me from having a pint. We were there during Happy Hour, great prices on beer and appitizers. I ordered the Stuffed Hungarian Peppers, wish my friend had as well, that way she would not have eaten half of mine! Several of the beers were available at the baseball game. They were being served at a portable stand that was in full sunshine so I chose not to drink a sunstruck beer. That in my opinion should be changed. LOL when I asked the server if there was a problem with skunky beer he said no they dont leave it there when they are not playing???

Awesome! Awesome! Great Great Awesome!
The Zip Hop ale is absolutely amazing if you like Imperial IPAs. All the beers are very good and they even have some guest taps currently featuring Stone Ruination and Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA.

Maple Porter is incredible. Steel Valley Stout is a fine example of a Irish Stout. O'Hoppy is a great American IPA. The others aren't my favorite styles but they are very clean and well made.

Service has been spotty in the past but has dramatically improved in recent months.

Food is very good. They have perhaps the best pizza and wings in the greater Akron area. The hot Bananna Peppers are to die for.

Great live entertainment many knights a week. Extended happy hour until 9 PM Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The owners are great friends of the local homebrewers and sponsor many meetings and events.

This is a must visit if you are in Akron.

Good Good Lousy Lousy So So
Very disappointing. Service is extremely slow. Everyone's food was overcooked and cold. The beers are pretty good, but not great. Go next door and have a Great Lakes on tap at the Barley House instead.

Opened May 2008 Brewer Dennis Holland is making some very good beers here. Good waitstaff. A few nice off menu items in addition to the Damon's chain menu. O'Hoppy Ale IPA is a favorite beer. Very nice Kolsch & Alt too.
