Tuesday night was a bit slow. The house manager was also manning the bar. So we had to wait for service. But we enjoyed the Pale Ale..good hoppy taste.
But it is the food that makes you want to come to Randy's. Tilapia in a nice almond crust for $13. Great salad bar with two home made soups. A very nice stop near some great Cross-country skiing in the South Kettle Moraine Unit.

This is for all of you homebrewers out there. When I was at Randy's I stole the receipe for the nut brown ale; 1. Go down to Whitewater Creek and fill a pint glass to the rim. 2. Take Mr. Hankey and place him in a large tea bag. 3. Gently dunk Mr. Hankey up and down in the glass for about five minutes. 4. Call EMS and enjoy! Sorry to be so negative, but it reminded me of the scene from Goldmember when Ausin Powers accidentally drank Fat Bastard's stool sample. "It's a bit nutty". Really, it was that bad. Sour, unbalanced, just all wrong. I also sampled two other beers that were not as bad, but really not good. The place is probably run by sone very nice people, and Jessica the bartender was very polite and friendly, but do not waste your time here.

Randy`s doing a great job , brewing great beer. When he`s tending bar he`ll let try a small sample first. That`s a big plus when not familar with the brew! I recommend Randy`s!

I agree with the 1998, 1999 written comments. Too bad it's 2003, almost 2004 when I'm adding MY comments.

Randy does a fine job with the beer, food and service. It is a must stop on HWY 12!

This is a restaurant that happens to brew beer. All are on the lighter side, geared toward small town folk used to swilling Miller Lite. If you are stuck in Whitewater, this is a good choice. Otherwise, don’t go out of your way.

The beer was barely average, although there were a lot of types...10 as I recall... but not really great. The food wasn't much better and the service was about the worst I'd had in a long time.
