Excellent beer selections, a large variety of bottled and wonderful drafts. Very knowledgeable staff willing to provide a sample or advice. Low cost variety of great tasting food as well. And on top of that no smoking throughout. Stop by early so you can find seat and enjoy the visit.

Terrific, cozy bar with a good selection of drafts and a gravity fed Yard's IPA that comes in at 55 degrees(maybe a bit warmer than that). Great winter drink. Non-smoking and still filled with people. Great variety of food well prepared and reasonably priced. Happy hour from 4-6. A true gem of a place!

Took my brother and sis-in-law, they sort of messed my order up so they gave it to me gratis! I love the Heffe Weissen's and they got em. Great staff and terrific atmosphere. I'm lucky in that it's just right down the street ;-)

Good cheap food, always nice to have Belgian beers on draft. It's a non-smoking bar, which I found interesting.

Stopped in at Bridgid's last Saturday on my birthday pub crawl with my wife. Great time. Had a bottle of Chimay Cinq Cents (Da Beeg Bottle!), which was superb, and had a fun conversation with the people at the bar. You can almost always find someone to talk to here, that's the kind of place it is. I agree with Mark: small number of taps is a good thing, and as the Farmhouse in Emmaus used to demonstrate, you can do amazing things with a small number of taps. Wish parking didn't suck quite so much.

Rated Bridget's in April, 1998 also. Not much has changed, which is GOOD! Second only to Monk's (who isn't?) in their selection of Belgian beer. Food is inexpensive and the menu is extensive. I never miss stopping by when I'm in town.

Five beers on tap may be the optimum amount, especially the way this place handles it's beer compared to other multi tap places. I've been to too many places lately where you get a world class beer that tastes like crap: flat, lifeless, no head, etc. Not this place. They know how to pour a beer. Stopped in Y2K eve; had Yards ESA on the down draft (a wonderful experience). Also serving Kwak. Selection rotated regularly. And meals from $12 on down. Not expensive and tastes great. THE neighborhood restaurant in Philly.

I was able to get to this establishment late in July. I amazingly got a parking spot directly outside, which made life a lot easier. It is a very nice place and everything is done very well. However, I don't think five beers makes it as great selection. I also thought the Yards was a little too warm. I got mine with ice cubes and I think that put the beer in a better temperature range. The food was real good; however, I don't know what great is. Dragonmeade has changed the way I think about everything beer related. I would recommend Bridgid's to anyone.

Great place! One of the best lil' beer bars anywhere; always one of my first pit stops whenever I'm in Philly. Good folks there, and they take the beer seriously and it shows. Almost impossible to get kicked out of.

A tiny, neighborhood establishment with little in the way of frills. But what it does have more than makes up for the crowded conditions. Tremendous Belgian selection as well as the first gravity tap that I have ever seen. I had a Yard's ESA and it was great! The food is very good considering the price. I had seafood and pasta with a lobster sauce for $11. Check it out.

It's a little, tiny place, and always crowded whenever I go. (I think they have about 6 tables plus however many can squeeze in around the bar.) But they have the best belgian beers - and a great selection. The waitresses were always great, but I wasn't impressed with the food.

Great Belgian beer selection and great Belgian style food. Small place with cozy atmosphere. Rochefort 10 and Chimay G.R. was all I needed!

Bar with a small restaurant in the back. Food was better for value than quality. Belgian beers dominate bottled selections. 4/5 beers on draft, empahsis on Belgian but included "Old Rasputin" night I was there. Would go back, but not if it was out of my way.
