This place had the same comfortable and friendly staff like the one back home. (Irvine) The beer was also fresh, with the IPA my favorite. Their were 4 in our party, we were all very happy with the service and the food. My local friends said they would be back.

the service wasn't the friendlist, but i always had a full beer and the burger was awesome! The beer sampler had their best ones, and i tried the cask... i dont know the name but it was like a smoothe real dark ipa. super hoppy finish. good. nice area of town and a very nice atmosphere! highly recomended if in eugene.

I hate the food here and only go for the beer. I like Bombay bomber and some others which don't stick in my mind. They need some fresh blood at the beer kettle and a new cook.

Stumbled across this place by accident. It's fine for being a chain. They have affiliates in a couple Nthrn California Cities. Beer was fine but not memorable as I can't even remember what I had. The root beer, however, was excellant.

We were very disappointed in the quality of the beers based on what we had heard. The beers we tried were not very flavorful or assertive. They were very ordinary at best. A better bet while in Eugene is West Brothers who makes amazing beers.

Tried a White Dog Pale, which was unfiltered and described by server as hoppier than the IPA, but neither it nor the IPA seemed hoppy enough. Spouse thought her blonde ale was not so great. In general, all three of these selections were a little watery and bland. As for food, I thought the menu was pretty typical BP fare, and didn't try anything. Service gets a lousy because they weren't bussing tables after people left, and they were not all that busy. A couple sat down at a table near us and server picked up the dirty plates, but didn't wipe it down, leaving them at a table covered with bits of food. Decor-wise, there are some nice over-stuffed chairs but the place seems a little too sterile and contrived. Overall, I far prefer McMenamin's High Street.

The hefeweizen was fantastic. Great atmosphere - seems to be a very popular joint; hence, it was a bit crowded and therefore the service could have been quicker. Great menu at fair prices. My second favorite in Eugene (after High Street)

Very nice place. The beer is well done and there is a good selection. Great menu, everything from a quick sandwich to a nice dinner. Nicely designed interior, with comfortable seating and some privacy for business diners. This is the best of Eugene.
